Stephanie Cook is a journalism master’s student who grew up in the small town of Nederland, just west of CU’s Boulder campus. After earning her BA in communication from Fort Lewis College in Durango, she worked as a staff writer for the city’s daily newspaper, The Durango Herald. She recently moved back to the Front Range from Seattle, where she contributed to a non-fiction book series focused on iconic American crimes. Stephanie is interested in using both traditional and narrative journalism to explore life and issues in the American West.
