The Kirkland Museum in Denver was moved this weekend — literally. To join with its facility, the 106 year old studio museum was uprooted from 1311 Pearl Street in Denver to its new location at 12th and Bannock on Nov. 6. These challenging seven blocks the studio traversed will give the new museum location 60 percent more exhibition space and a better visitor experience.
And the new host of A Prairie Home Companion, Chris Thile, will be at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House on Saturday, Nov. 19. Don’t miss the show’s first road tour since Thile took the wheel. Tickets are $45 to $75, available at axs.com.
