A spooktacular Halloween weekend in store with classic films, weird parties and local art

Celebrate Halloween with Dorothy Papadakos on the organ, and the 1922 silent horror film “Nosferatu” on the silver screen in Denver at St. John’s Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. Event is free, all-ages, and guaranteed spooky.

Each Friday, The Dairy Arts Center is home to a gathering of weirdos. Friday Night Weird is a celebration of all things bizzare and spectacular. This Friday is a particularly scary edition of the party: Halloweird. Come in costume, dance and scream during a screening of “Halloween” at 8:30 p.m. and a dance party at 9:30 p.m.

Día de los Muertos is Oct 31 through Nov 2, but since the beginning of September, Bricolage Gallery at Art Parts Creative Reuse Center in Boulder has exhibited the found object shrines, wall pieces, and art created by students and professional artists of Boulder. Stop by and purchase a few to house your own photos or memories on Saturday, Oct 29 at 10:30 a.m.
