Cannabis-friendly fitness event fights stereotypes

For the first time in Colorado, the 420 Games will be held at Boulder Reservoir. This California-based event series works to “break down the stereotypes that have been built up during the era of cannabis prohibition“.

Avery Collins, an athlete involved with the 420 Games, acts as an example of an incredibly successful athlete who smokes marijuana. He is often quoted in arguments in favor of marijuana usage as an athlete. His track record acts as evidence of marijuana’s affects on an athlete’s performance.

The 420 Games works to fight against the stereotypes of the lazy pothead by challenging the fittest cannabis users. This event will be held in Colorado for the first time in Boulder, attracting those who include bud with their fitness routine.
