Fall is here, time for beer
The old Stanley Aviation building in Denver is getting an update: as a part of Stanley Marketplace, Stanley Beer Hall will be open within a month. Just east of downtown Denver, this new establishment will be a highlight in the middle of 100,000 square feet. Its modern dining and drinking experience will include a concrete slab bar, an open kitchen, lawn games, and more. The marketplace is also hiring – and holding a fair this Saturday, Sept. 24 from 1 – 4 p.m. with pre-registration required.
Fresh Foods Pair with Fresh Ideas
The long anticipated Denver Central Market opens this Sunday, Sept. 25 on Larimer Street in downtown. The market will provide the neighborhood with a general grocery and a myriad of specialty options, from chocolate to meats and ice cream.
Later in October, Michael Brownlee will speak about and sign his book, “The Local Food Revolution,” at the Boulder Book Store on Pearl Street in Boulder.
Art, Craft and Design
Saturday and Sunday, the Renegade Craft Fair makes its debut in Denver at the RiNo EXDO Event Center. The largest independent craft fair in the world comes to Colorado in time for the fall season, just ahead of gift giving season. Music and food trucks will round out the variety of arts and home products featured at the fair this weekend.
The 2016 Longmont Studio Tour is also open to the public Sept. 24 and 15. See or buy original work and meet the artists living and working in Boulder County.
