Sans Souci Combines Film and Live Dance Performance for an International Multimedia Festival

In 2003, Michelle Ellsworth and Bradi Mathis created Sans Souci, an experimental arts festival with local artists that combined short film and live dance performance.  In the years since, the has festival matured and, with the support of the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art and the University of Colorado’s Department of Theater and Dance, became an international event.

The 2016 line-up includes films from Austrailia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Mexico, to name a few, and features the work of six Boulder artists and a CU student.

The festival runs through Nov. 15, screening at multiple venues in Boulder and Lafayette. Here are all the days on which you can catch a performance: Sept. 26, Oct. 8, Oct. 24, Oct. 30, Nov. 6 and Nov. 15
