Boomtown Boulder, an accelerator for small startups, announced Colorado’s first HealthTech program, which will help certain startups in the state get the support and money needed for projects focused on health care technologies. The program’s first accelerator will be held Jan. 25-April 15, 2016, and applications are being accepted from now through Saturday, Dec. 5. On Saturday, Nov. 21 at 9:30 a.m., head out to the Boulder Reservoir for the Panicking Poultry 5k and get your exercise in before the week of holiday feasting begins. The Boulder County Parks and Open Space holds programs and free nature hikes for seniors every month that include information about the area’s history and wildlife management projects.
