CU’s Dr. Donald A. Misch urges students to stop fearing Ebola and get a flu shot instead, calling Ebola contraction here in Boulder “a highly unlikely event.” Flu shots are available for faculty and staff and are free for students at Wardenburg Health Center.

Boulder Indoor Soccer is celebrating its grand opening at a new location—3203 Pearl St—with an open house Saturday from 1-11 p.m. In addition to fields for soccer and futsal, the new facility boasts event rooms, inflatables for children, and athletic offerings from yoga to cycling. Fitness clothing company ATHLETA is offering  free fitness classes at BOCO Fit on Pearl Street every Thursday in November. Register in advance (required) here.
