Boulder County is encouraging residents to put forth opinions on flood restoration projects along Fourmile Creek. The consultant team has released a draft plan for the watershed on which the public is invited to comment. The deadline is November 14.

Longmont is empowering property managers to help reduce illicit activity in rental properties. The city is providing a free workshop, the next being offered on November 18, to educate landlords with regard to lease addendums, crime prevention tactics, and eviction practices among other topics.

The Colorado Independent is holding a forum in Boulder on November 16 to discuss the results of the midterm elections and their effect on Colorado. The forum will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder and is open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
